Before your Airbrush Tanning Appointment
Moisturize regularly a few days prior to your appointment, but not the day of, concentrating on the hands, feet, elbows and knees
Take care of any waxing or shaving before your appointment, not the day of.
The Day of your Airbrush Tanning Appointment
Shower & exfoliate before your appointment, using only oil-free products. Products containing oils may inhibit the tan from bonding to your skin. We recommend using the SunFx oil-free body polish specifically made to maximize the life of your tan.
Avoid using deodorant, lotion or oils on your body the day of your appointment, as these may prevent the tan from bonding with your skin
Wear loose fitting, dark clothing to avoid tanning solution rubbing off on your clothes. Our tanning solution is water-based, which should easily come off on the wash.
For your convenience, we provide disposable undergarments during your tanning session
After your Airbrush Tanning Appointment
Avoid showering, swimming, or sweating for 6-8 hours
Avoid wearing socks or shoes after your tanning session as sweating can inhibit the development of your tan
Avoid long hot baths and showers, as these will speed up exfoliation
Avoid exfoliating after your tan is applied
Avoid spraying perfumes directly on the skin
Use of a tan extender can add 3-5 days to your tan's life
