FAQs
Q
Will I look frozen after Botox treatments?
A
Not when Botox is done well. The goal of Botox treatments is controlled relaxation – not elimination of expression. You’ll still look like yourself, just more rested and refined
Q
What areas can be treated with Botox?
A
Common areas for Botox treatments include the forehead, frown lines (between the brows), and crow’s feet. Botox can also be used for subtle lifting, jaw slimming, and improving skin texture in select cases
Q
When will I see results from Botox?
A
Most patients begin to notice changes within 3–5 days, with full results appearing around 10–14 days. We recommend patients to wait for up to 14 days before any touch-ups
Q
Do Botox treatments hurt?
A
Botox treatments are quick and involve minimal discomfort – often described as a small pinch. Most patients don’t require numbing and tolerate the treatment well
Q
Is there any downtime with Botox treatments?
A
There’s little to no downtime. You may have slight redness or small bumps at the injection sites, which usually resolve within 48 hours. Some patients may get small bruises at the injection sites. To reduce the risk of bruising, we suggest all patients to avoid blood thinners like Advil, Aspirin, etc. and alcohol for 24 hours prior to the Botox treatment
Q
If I stop receiving Botox treatments, will my wrinkles get worse?
A
No – your muscles simply return to their normal activity over time. Many patients find their lines appear softer than before due to consistent treatments
Q
Can Botox be combined with other treatments?
A
Yes. Botox pairs well with fillers, laser treatments, and skincare for a more comprehensive approach to facial rejuvenation.

Our approach
Every patient appointment at U Med Spa begins with a full facial consultation by our licensed and trained injectors. Our injectors tailor each treatment based on the customer’s skin type, texture, and skincare concerns. Type of product and the total amount that each customer needs will vary and will be determined based on the consultation.
We tend to perform conservatively during our first appointments with new patients to ensure natural results. Sometimes, this can mean that we would need follow-up appointments 2 weeks after the initial appointment to help patients achieve optimal results.
