FAQs
Q
How is Dysport different from Botox?
A
Both are neuromodulators, but Dysport tends to diffuse a bit more once injected. This can make it especially effective for broader areas like the forehead, often creating a very seamless, natural-looking result
Q
What areas does Dysport treat best?
A
It’s commonly used for frown lines, forehead lines, and crow’s feet. Many patients also prefer it for larger treatment areas where a softer, blended effect is ideal
Q
How quickly will I see results?
A
Dysport is known for a slightly quicker onset with some patients noticing changes in as little as 2–3 days, with full results around 10–14 days
Q
Will I still have natural facial expressions?
A
Yes. The goal is to soften your lines, not erase your expressions. When properly dosed and placed, Dysport allows for natural movement while minimizing lines
Q
What is the downtime for Dysport?
A
Downtime is minimal for Dysport treatments. You may notice slight redness or swelling at the injection points, but they should resolve in a few hours and most patients return to normal activities right away
Q
What should I do after my Dysport treatments?
A
Stay upright for a few hours, avoid intense workouts the same day, and skip rubbing or massaging the treated areas
Q
How often should I maintain Dysport?
A
Most patients schedule treatments every 3–4 months to keep results consistent and predictable
Q
Can Dysport be part of a larger treatment plan?
A
Absolutely. It’s often combined with fillers, skin treatments such as HydraFacial, and collagen-stimulating procedures such as Moxi Laser and microneedling for a more complete, long-term approach

Our approach
Every patient appointment at U Med Spa begins with a full facial consultation by our licensed and trained injectors. Our injectors tailor each treatment based on the customer’s skin type, texture, and skincare concerns. Type of product and the total amount that each customer needs will vary and will be determined based on the consultation.
We tend to perform conservatively during our first appointments with new patients to ensure natural results. Sometimes, this can mean that we would need follow-up appointments 2 weeks after the initial appointment to help patients achieve optimal results.
